The diagram shows the 58,690 orbits injected into all 98 fields, job 55507022. 21,558 were recovered by the linker. Every field in the quarter ladder is included.
Each field is filled to 600 objects, drawn equally from Atira, Aten, Apollo and Amor and kept only when the orbit falls in the field. A class that does not land is returned short, so Apollo and Amor outnumber Aten, and Atira is rare: only a field within about 80° of the Sun can hold one. Apparent magnitude is uniform from 19.0 to 25.5. Inclination in this run is the Granvik et al. 2018 distribution of that class. The orbits that landed have median inclination about 17° for Atens, 12° for Apollos, and 9° for Amors.
The map recorded the size and shape. The three angles were redrawn from the seed the injection used, and the redrawn semi-major axis was checked against the map before this page was published. Everything is advanced to MJD 60871.5, the epoch of the linked-orbits page.
Color by status paints each orbit by what the linker did with it: recovered, no tracklet, below depth, no linkage, the reliability cut, trailing, never observable, or depth unknown.
| Class | Definition | Orbits |
|---|---|---|
| Atira | a < 1 AU, aphelion inside Earth's perihelion (0.983 AU) | 0 |
| Aten | a < 1 AU, aphelion beyond 0.983 AU | 9,969 |
| Apollo | a > 1 AU, perihelion inside Earth's aphelion (1.017 AU) | 24,477 |
| Amor | a > 1 AU, perihelion between 1.017 and 1.3 AU | 24,244 |
